Innovative Thinkers
We are passionate about our
Sustainability Goals
At Touchcom, we champion sustainability through our Managed Mobility Service, guiding our clients on a journey towards a circular economy. Our efforts in becoming a more sustainable and conscious company are aligned with the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goal).
Touchcom has strong ethics regarding creating an inclusive, respectful, and understanding environment.
SDG3 Good Health and Wellbeing
The health and wellbeing of our staff is important to us. As we have a hybrid team of remote and on-site staff, we are looking to develop a Wellbeing Programme further, extending to all our staff.
Touchcom supports our local community’s wellbeing by sponsoring the Women’s Ballyboden GAA football team and donating to Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice each year.
“Sponsorship of Bray Wanderers U17 Women’s League of Ireland Football team”.
SDG4 Quality Education
Touchcom provides all the relevant training for employees in their roles. We are looking to support our staff in their career development and education outside of their roles as well and support them in upskilling through Skillnet Ireland programmes and other courses to keep them up to date with technology in the MMS (Managed Mobility Services) industry.
SDG5 Gender Equality
Touchcom has a strong non-discriminatory ethics and a comprehensive DEI Policy that highlights equal work standards for all genders, and we are committed to ensuring full participation for all our staff regardless of gender. We also support and donate to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre annually and have done so since 2005.
SDG8 Decent Work and Economic Growth
Our idea of economic growth is inseparable from the wellbeing of people and the planet. Creating economic profit within the circular economy is in the heart of what we do. Helping our clients to procure devices while promoting Device as a Service, green procurement and partnering for closed loop economic systems helps our clients to innovate for productivity while reducing use of resources.
SDG9 Innovation and Infrastructure
Our Services enhance industry sustainability by assisting companies in comprehending their technology usage, optimising its application, and making informed procurement decisions.
SDG10 Reduced Inequalities
We offer accommodations for employees with learning disabilities and neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD, recognising the importance of neurodiversity and the need for an adaptive workplace.
We have engaged with organisations like ADHD Ireland in accessing information that allows us to provide the appropriate resources.
We also partner with Assistiv Ireland, who use innovative assistive technology and training to remove barriers to employment for those with learning disabilities.
SDG12 Responsible Consumption and Production
Our Mobile Device Recycling Program integrates repurposed devices from our clients into our supply chain, promoting the circular economy. We offer our clients a recycling solution for their end-of-life mobile devices, helping them to reduce their e-waste, costs, and emissions. Our own Waste Management Policy outlines our internal efforts in encouraging conscious behaviour among Touchcom staff.
SDG13 Climate Action
Touchcom raises awareness on e-waste, carbon footprint associated with device manufacturing and on how green procurement can help to slow down the climate crisis. Our services, partnership and campaigns promote circular economy and reduction of climate impact associated with business operations and beyond. Internally, we are mindful of our own Carbon Footprint. We are committed to implementing green solutions into our operations, to raising climate crisis awareness and to driving sustainable thinking across the board.
SDG17 Partnerships for the Goals
Touchcom partners with global tech refurbishing companies to help our clients to realise trade in value on end-of-life devices. As a result, the available funds can be used to support charity organisations for a wider community impact.
We aim to develop an educational campaign focused on waste valorisation and generating social value, all while benefiting the environment.
